Why is water overflowing even though my gutters are clean?

Overflow on clean gutters is often caused by incorrect pitch, a blocked or undersized downspout, or a gutter that is not catching water from the roof edge. We can check the slope and downspouts and correct the problem.

How often should gutters be cleaned?
